About

Brigid Walsh is certified in Sustainable Design from The Pratt Institute and certified in Permaculture Design from The Center for Bio-Regional Living. After nearly ten years as an Executive at Vogue magazine, Brigid segued into Environmental Design while working on several personal and governmental land use projects in upstate New York. With an instinctual passion for problem-solving, Brigid uses environmental design techniques to add an “earth-first” solution set to every project, whether on a household-scale or a global-scale.

From Los Angeles, Brigid began her career in entertainment marketing and public relations, where she founded a film and television communications firm that quickly attracted a roster of A-list personalities. She went on to produce television series’ and documentary films, before joining the award-winning team at Condé Nast.  As Head of Global Business Development for MarioTestino+, she led the elite London-based creative agency in global expansion by developing strategies for revenue diversification through team restructuring and thoughtful analytics.

Brigid has nurtured a deep commitment to community and the arts. She serves as Chair of the Saugerties Town Ethics Committee, Co-Chair of the Board of Opus 40 Sculpture Park & Museum, on the Board of Directors of Permaculture Living Lands Trust, on the Board of the Ulster County Ethic Committee, and formerly as Chair of the Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce.

Brigid and her husband, Grammy-award-winning producer and music supervisor Ed Gerrard, live in New York’s Hudson Valley.
